Well! There we are! Look at how cute that baby is!
I can’t wait to touch that little baby! Hold him/her and look at that beautiful
face!
This week has been a rough one. I’m extremely tired
and grumpy-- too much negativity around and within me. I think it’s time for
church. :/ Church usually allows me time to gain some sort of perspective! How
unfair, huh? I haven’t been to church in quite some time and I feel the need to
go when I’m feeling low? I really need to get it together! Especially for the
baby!
Welp! Our appointment went well on Monday! The
ultrasound tech was concerened about my fluid levels. Said I need to drink more
water. Really? Me? I’m ALWAYS drinking water. Hmmph! The midwife said it was on
the low side of NORMAL, so she’s not concerned. She said that can fluctuate
throughout the week. But! Baby is growing accordingly and is perfect! So
grateful! The ultrasound tech wasn’t able to get a good picture of baby’s mouth
so we get to see him/her again in 4 weeks!!! J
I love looking at the baby! It’s so nice to see the little fella…or lady! Haha.
I’m not sure what we’re having and I keep calling the baby a “him” HA!
Oops!
I think that’s all I have going for me right now,
so I’ll write back next week.

Well, it’s been a while since I’ve posted. We are
in the process of painting the baby’s room and getting our registries together!
I don’t know what all I need! It seems like I’m asking for too much, but I just
don’t really know! EEK! On September 4th as we were lying down for
bed, I did my usual digging around the baby belly to feel something…guess
what!? I think I felt Baby Usher!!! I mean I had to make sure it wasn’t my
pulse, because that is so powerful, but it was a definite nudge! Granted, I was
digging around. But now I feel the definite butterflies. What I want to feel,
now, is the nudge without the digging around! Haha.
This Saturday is a baby shower for my little
sister, she’s 35 weeks. It makes me nervous to think how close she is to
delivering her baby! I’m half way there (19 w. 5 d.) and I get more and more
nervous at each passing day!
My mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and new aunt are
planning a shower for me here in Clovis, so I’m getting a list together of the
people I want to invite over here. We’re trying to get our registries together.
We have 4: Target, Babies R’ Us, Wal-Mart, and Amazon.com. I realize I’m asking
for a lot, but I’ve never done this. So, here I am just kind of guessing. Haha.
I dunno? I felt incompetent as I was registering. Last night, I got so
agitated, I questioned if I’d be a good mom. Keegan looked at me and said,
“You’re already a good mom. You’re preparing yourself for our baby and doing what
you feel you need to do, you’re a good mom.” Ahhh, that man. He’s so great to
me. Sometimes that’s all you need is just a little boost. He does that a lot.
OH! As far as pregnancy stuff goes, I’ve been doing
alright. Last Friday, August 31st, I had heartburn for 12 hours!
Seriously? It was mild, so at first I didn’t feel the need to go to Wal-Mart
and buy some Tums. When I got home, I was so tired, that I didn’t want to go to the store. I took a nap and my heartburn was still there. I didn’t talk to him all
evening, I tried different things to help, and it didn’t work. Finally at about
11pm, it went away! The only comfort was eating warm tortillas! I wasn’t about
to eat the whole bag, so I just had a couple here and there. But at about 11, I
felt it just go away. Thank you, Jesus! Man! That was rough! The next morning,
I bought Tums, in case anything like that happens again. Whew! Other than my 12
hour hiatus, I have been doing ok. I wake up with my feet hurting every
morning. I’m always hungry. I take naps when I can. So, everything has been
going great! J I feel fine!
My emotions are crazy. Haha.
Last Tuesday, August 28th, I went on a
hunt for my yogurt and my feelings got really hurt because I couldn’t find it.
I felt one of the kids at work, ate it or something. THEN! I found it in the
freezer, and then my feelings got hurt again, like someone was playing a trick
on me. Haha. I couldn’t help but laugh at myself. Keegan said, “Olivia, it’s
yogurt.” I know! But I was hungry and someone took my snack! Haha. Man!
